Introduction

Major histocompatibility complex (MHC), a collective term for all groups of genes encoding antigens of the biocompatibility complex, has an important immunophysiological function. MHC molecules on the surface of antigen-presenting cells present antigenic peptide fragments to T cells, which may occur and trigger an immune response.
