Intracellular Antigen-MHC Complex Service

CD8+ T Cell-associated Immune Response

Major histocompatibility complex class I (MHC I) is required for viral antigen presentation and subsequent killing of infected cells by cytotoxic T lymphocytes. A key determinant of CD8+ T cell recognition of virus-infected cells is the binding of the T cell receptor (TCR) to its cognate peptide/MHC I complex. When MHC I is transported through the endoplasmic reticulum (ER), short peptides of 7-13 amino acids in length from the host or foreign proteins are loaded onto MHC I and then presented on the cell surface. Therefore, many viruses such as HIV and herpesviruses have evolved complex mechanisms to interfere with MHC I presentation of viral peptides due to the critical role of MHC class I molecules in the recognition of infected cells by CD8+ T cells. MHC class I molecules play an important role in the study of the transport mechanism of endogenous antigens and the function of CD8+ T cells, helping researchers to accelerate the discovery of new targets.

Expression of MHC Complexes Associated with Intracellular Antigens

This service is a custom service for peptide-MHC I complex against intracellular antigens. Our recombinant protein production platform can produce pMHC monomers of target antigens according to the allele type, peptide sequence, fluorescent label, and other information provided by customers. At the same time, we also provide customers with MHC I multimer generation services, such as typical MHC I tetramers. Our custom monomeric and tetrameric reagents can aid in the study and analysis of CD8+ T cell function. In addition, our multimer reagents have good binding properties and stain cells well. And we also provide some reversible tags that can be added to complex monomers or polymers for easy analysis by researchers.
